tech air wins What Laptop Gold Award

The two examples here, the 5502 and 5105, are very similar in terms of their
features and build. The only real difference between the two is their aesthetics. The 5502 has a rather snazzy, modern feel to it, with
bright orange patches and a splash of silver.
It's the kind of bag you might see a DJ carrying
around the trendier parts of London. In contrast, the 5105 is all black and businesslike. Both are of a similar size, and both are designed to carry
laptops with screens of up to 15.4 inches.
Each bag has a padded section for laptops, with ‘techair' air cushioning technology employed to soften any bumps and knocks. According
to tech air, air is better than foam because it distributes the shock away from the
point of impact and its effectiveness doesn't degrade over time. The fact that air doesn't add any bulk to the bag is a bonus. Whatever
the case, laptops slip nicely into the compartment and seem very well protected.
Another feature shared by both is the SKINN, a small removable stationery and
accessory pouch that ? xes in the bag's main compartment with a couple of elastic tassels and a strip of Velcro. The mobile nature of
the SKINN is handy, but the real draw of the feature is the fact that you can buy new SKINNs (there will be ones designed for different purposes, according to tech air) and swap them for the original. This adds extra ?exibility to the bag. The 5502 also has a dedicated pocket for an MP3 player or Walkman, complete with tiny hole for headphones.

The extra compartments are brilliantly
arranged, and should help even the most disorganised
individual keep his or her affairs in order. All things considered, we'd give the
5502 the nod over the 5105, simply because
of its more interesting look.
